Job Summary
Spot by NetApp is a leading company specializing in cloud workload automation, dedicated to enhancing performance, simplifying complexity, and reducing compute infrastructure costs. Our research team develops solutions for critical issues involving large-scale data from thousands of customers. We collaborate closely with the product teams to implement cutting-edge technology in real-world scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven models for various cloud-related topics, such as workload allocation, anomaly detection, and spot availability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest architectures and become an expert in relevant literature.
- Collaborate with the product team to design solutions that effectively address customer needs.
- Work closely with the R&D team to scale our solutions using the latest MLOps technologies.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
- MSc or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python coding.
- Excellent analytical skills.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with major cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
- Theoretical knowledge in the field of time-series prediction.
- Track record of publications in machine learning or related conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, ICLR, and others.
