Maez is the EY GDS Philippines Cybersecurity Leader and Cybersecurity Alliances Leader, and supports the firm’s major clients globally. She has a proven track record as a cybersecurity leader and has been instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies while conducting in-depth incident investigations. She is a multi-awarded technology leader and international speaker, recognized among the 100 Most Influential Filipino Women and a Hall of Fame inductee in Top Women in Security in the ASEAN region. In 2025, Maez was honored as the first ever EY Global Women in Technology (WiT) Extraordinary Woman of the Year, underscoring her leadership in driving technology initiatives, large-scale threat detection and response operations and her dedication to empowering women in technology. As EY GDS Cybersecurity Alliances Leader, Maez is also actively serving as a global advisory board member of key cybersecurity alliance vendor partners, advising on how to further improve the cybersecurity ecosystem. She creates impact by leading activities that help the next generation find their love for STEM topics and encourages them to consider a career in Tech. She further drives initiatives for women who are already in the tech workforce at EY and want to build community, educate themselves or move to the next level in their careers. Her passion is in connecting people across different geographies, ranks, competencies and genders, working towards the joint goal of equity in tech.
