You will engage in critical network and attack-related events for our customers. As frontline defense, you'll be responsible for detecting and mitigating cyber attacks. In this fast-paced environment your exceptional support to customers will impact the future of the customer's and Akamai's business.

As a Security Architect Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Engaging in cyber attack mitigation
• Performing advanced packet analysis to identify attacks and threats
• Managing and documenting technical issues, responses and requests to ensure information is recorded and updated
• Providing support to customers to remedy and resolve network and connectivity issues
• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant customer facing experience within a technical support or consulting environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of how the Internet works, including hands-on experience with DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP/UDP protocols
• Possess great communication skills including ability to explain complex technical content in English to global partners
• Show knowledge of common OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet services compromise or attacks
• Have passion and ability to learn new tools and technologies and problem solve
• Be able to work night shifts - 4 days per week for 10 hours.
