What does our team do?

You will join our R&D and be part of the talented developers in the Momentum group.
This involves working in cross-organizational teams, making meaningful impacts, and solving some of the most complex challenges. Momentum team is a unique development group for critical tasks and issues. We deliver direct and meaningful impact to our customers all across the product components.

In this role you will be:

• Leading new features and problem-solving from requirements to delivery across the product areas and technologies
• Developing a platform that enables integration between several Akamai's security solutions
• Collaborating with different engineering teams, product teams, and operations
• Writing reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable code
• Communicating with our customers and leaving a favorable impact
• Addressing complex software challenges at the forefront of today's technology, optimizing, and putting a lot of emphasis on performance

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 4+ years of object-oriented software development experience
• Experience in E2E design and implementation of features as part of large-scale backend projects
• Experience in Backend Development (Python is an advantage)
• Experience in working with Linux-based systems
