Job Summary

The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We drive preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings.

NetApp has an amazing set of ISV partners who integrate with our ONTAP protection technologies. Our team is looking to hire a Technical Marketing Engineer who will help us further grow our ecosystem of data protection partners and create new alliances. In short, this role will build and drive technical partnerships across the entire ecosystem of Backup, Disaster Recovery, Ransomware, and SIEM/XDR ISVs.

Job Requirements

· Build and manage relationships with Data Protection and Security ISVs

· Build and implement a scalable framework to successfully onboard and drive the adoption of Data protection services.

· Build and publish business and technical collateral to make partners successful using our services - includes demos of using APIs, API usage examples, Best practices, etc.

· Lead technical discussions with Partner ISV's

· Lead discussions with Legal teams for any licensing agreements

· Drive backlog with PMs and engineering for any feature enhancements to existing APIs or building new APIs.

· Present the progress of the partnership program to the Senior leadership team and other stakeholders within the company.

Job Requirements

· 10+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of experience in leading and managing technical partnerships with ISVs

· Experience delivering technology products from ideation to post launch.

· Demonstrated passion for delivering best in class customer experiences.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams towards a common goal.

· Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.

· Results-oriented growth mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

· An excellent understanding, curiosity, and interest in how technology products and solutions solve business/customer problems.

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

· Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills.

· Ability to manage multiple, critical projects is required.

· Expertise in data protection and governance, specifically backup and recovery, is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in computer science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $144,810 - $195,360. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.  In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
