The "Senior MS Network and Security Engineer" ensure that IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

Working at NTT

As a "Senior MS Network and Security Engineer" you will:

·       Be part and work in synergy with the client's IT teams on their regular activities.

·       Take an Engineering role within the dedicated customer NTT Team.

·       Have a very strong collaboration with the NTT Client Delivery Manager and the Managed Services Operation team members!

·       Improve and perfect your knowledge and expertise in the "Run" phase.

·       Work on Incidents, Changes and Services requests on our client’s infrastructure

·       Make propositions for infrastructure improvements and follow-up the implementation with the team and the client.

·       Work on projects depending on expertise and experience.

·       Have full autonomy on the way to manage the infrastructure as long as the team and is aligned with the approach and our SLAs are covered.

·       Deliver impeccable service as part of NTT Luxembourg

What will make you a good fit for the role?

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

·       Higher degree in IT or Computer Science (or experience)

·    At least +5 years of experience

·       Languages: English is mandatory, French and / or German are an asset

·       You demonstrate: planning & time management skills, good verbal & written communication, ability to adapt, analyze problems, think innovatively, customer orientation

 

Knowledge or experience of IT Infrastructure in general, we appreciate if you have knowledge in any of the following:

 

·       Networking knowledge (Protocols, troubleshooting methods, packets analyzing)

·       Cisco technologies for Branches and Datacenters (Catalysts, Nexus, ISR…)

·       Software Defined Networking (VMWare NSX focus)

·       Firewalling knowledge (Checkpoint, Cisco)

·       Web/Mail proxies’ awareness and understanding.

·       Monitoring tools experience (preferably Zabbix)

·       Nice to have's: IAM (CyberArk), Ansible, Python, Automation focused mind, ability to think out of the box.
