Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Overview of the role

As our Regional Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role at the centre of our Regional Performance Marketing Campaign Team, helping to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently, effectively, and with impact. Acting as a trusted partner to the VP, you’ll drive operational excellence, optimise workflows, and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to the latest financial forecasts.



You’ll bring clarity to complex programmes, track performance, and enable the team to focus on delivering best-in-class marketing across multiple markets. This is a highly visible role where your ability to influence, prioritise, and deliver outcomes will directly contribute to Sage’s growth ambitions.



Overview of the team

The Regional Performance Marketing team sits at the heart of Sage’s growth strategy. We design and deliver customer-centric, insight-led campaigns across multiple markets, combining strategy, creativity, and execution to drive measurable business outcomes.

Working collaboratively across regions and functions, the team leverages data, innovation, and continuous improvement to ensure every campaign delivers maximum impact while staying true to Sage’s brand.



Office location

Paris, France

Hybrid Working - 3 days per week in our Paris office and 2 days from home.
What we are looking for?

You’ll be an experienced operations or marketing operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex programmes.



Key responsibilities include:

• Leading operational rhythms including team forums, planning cycles, and leadership updates to ensure clear priorities and accountability.

• Driving regional marketing planning, budget tracking, and forecasting with a focus on financial discipline.

• Managing and prioritising incoming requests through the Regional Marketing Operations Hub.

• Establishing reporting frameworks to measure campaign performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.

• Chairing key meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring actions are clearly tracked and delivered.

• Supporting strategic initiatives to enhance team effectiveness, culture, and performance.

• Acting as a representative for the VP across meetings and workstreams.

• Ensuring processes, timelines, and commitments across marketing delivery and budgeting are met.

• Keeping the team aligned on important deadlines including budgeting cycles and campaign reporting.

• Overseeing lead management, funnel optimisation, and performance analytics to drive insights.



Experience and skills you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in operations, programme management, or marketing operations within a matrix organisation.

• Strong project management capability, with experience delivering complex initiatives.

• Solid understanding of marketing processes, campaign delivery, and budget management.

• Familiarity with marketing technology such as Salesforce and LeanData. (advantageous)

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear insights.

• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Confident communication and presentation skills.

• A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Experience managing high workloads and tight deadlines.
