Career mobility for women in tech can be a challenge when they are not included as a valuable member of a tech team. This session will provide women with tips and suggestions on how to better advocate for themselves in their careers.


Bio

Marie Roker-Jones is a social impact startup founder with over ten years of experience in leading gender and racial diversity strategies. Marie has helped tech companies and startups with their diversity hiring goals through Veteran and military spouse initiatives. Marie also has workforce and career development experience creating workforce re-entry programs for underrepresented communities. Marie has faciliated dialogue in racial healing and debiasing through #CompassionConvos.
