Staff Applications Engineer

As a AMBA applications engineer, you will work with Synopsys customers worldwide, on silicon-proven interface IPs.

 

You will provide post-sales support for configuration, integration, simulation, and post-silicon bring up of the latest AMBA, I3C Mobile Storage product lines..

This opportunity will require work with a diverse global team of engineers to provide expert product knowledge to Synopsys customers worldwide.

 

You will also create collateral and author documentation working with internal teams to improve user experience.

 

Requirements

· Prior experience in any high speed protocol such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet

· Experience in AMBA bus interfaces, AXI

· Knowledge of floor-planning, SI/PI, backend engineering

· Since the role will be working with customers worldwide, excellent communication in English is a must

· Prior experience as an applications engineer is a plus

· Proficient with UNIX, HDL (Verilog/VHDL) and has a strong understanding of ASIC design flow is required

· Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering or similar with focus on VLSI design
