The Synopsys GTM group is looking for motivated and passionate Field Applications Engineer to join our Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) team, to work closely with few selected local high end customers on innovative projects and advanced technologies.

In this position you will be working closely with
a small number of industries flag ship companies, assisting with presales, deployment and support of the Synopsys AMS products. You will work independently and collaboratively with other team members addressing customer issues, providing pre-sales presentations, training & methodology support and driving tool adoption.
 
Job Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering (or related degree) with a minimum of 3 years experience in analog/mixed-signal simulation/verification and analog/custom implementation using Spice/FastSpice/mixed-signal simulators, schematic capture, simulation environments.
  • Knowledge in FinFET technologies and their impact on design methodologies is a plus.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with other team members locally and worldwide
  • Understanding of analog EDA tools and methods for the design, implementation, and verification of Custom IC and Analog mixed-signal chips. 
  • Understanding of the complete custom/mixed-signal design process.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interface with customers.
  • Preferred skills would include; Programming skills in TCL / Perl / Python; Knowledge of competitive EDA products and industry trends; experience with Linux OS.
