The Role

Computer Operators at Kyndryl are key in helping revolutionize the way we operate complex computer systems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, supervise and control intricate networks and applications, and operate distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment.  

As a Computer Operator you will be on the technical frontline – performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. You will also have the opportunity to develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service to our customers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

•7+ Years of Experience in Mainframe Scheduling tools OPC and CA7.
• Sound knowledge on Console monitoring.

• Sound knowledge on Mainframe consoles, HMC, batch, subsystems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience within a complex global/multi-national operating environment.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically in order to understand and detect business issues and their impacts on the customer and operational environment.

• Demonstrated track record of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term

Solid understanding of the IT infrastructure and system interdependencies preferred.
