We are looking for a talented atomic-scale applications engineer to join our team!

The Synopsys QuantumATK team develops a leading-edge software platform for atomic-scale materials modeling simulations. You will focus on developing and applying innovative approaches to simulating semiconductor processes, and you will support our semiconductor customers in using them. There will be a special focus on surfaces and interfaces, and processing techniques such as ALD and ALE.
 
Your role requires a broad skillset. You will have frequent meetings with industrial customers and develop application examples. You may also conduct webinars, contribute to marketing material, publish in leading scientific journals, and be involved in developing software modules.

Qualifications

  • Excellent background in atomic-scale materials modeling
  • Experience with atomistic process simulations is required
  • Experience with connecting atomistic simulations with higher-level modeling frameworks will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • General programming skills in Python and ideally also experience with using QuantumATK
