1. Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference and what motivated you to join our community of 200 000 women in tech and allies?
I’m truly excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference, especially because it brings together a global community focused on growth, mentorship, and meaningful connections.
What motivated me to join is the shared ambition to expand opportunity—not only by celebrating role models, but also by building practical pathways into STEM careers through learning, networking, and allyship.
I see this community as a powerful lever to attract and support female STEM talent and to accelerate inclusive, purpose-driven career journeys in tech and engineering.
2. Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction?
My career sits at the intersection of people, technology, and engineering. In my current role as Global Executive People Experience Director, I focus on enabling growth at scale through modern people practices—using data, digitization, and continuous development to help technical talent thrive.
What inspired me is seeing how innovation depends on people feeling supported: clear competencies, accessible learning, fair evaluation, and real internal mobility can transform potential into impact.
For this conference, my contribution will specifically highlight how RINA supports and develops its people, while my colleague Marzia BASSO will share her personal career journey.
3. Why is the topic “Shaping Careers with Purpose: Inspirational Stories of Growth in Tech and Engineering” important to you?
Because “purpose” is what makes growth sustainable. In tech and engineering, careers move fast—skills evolve, roles change, and global mobility becomes real. Without a clear sense of direction and the right development architecture, talent can disengage.
I’m particularly passionate about making development practical and measurable: build shared competency standards, invest in learning that drives behavior change, and use data to improve the employee experience over time.
One principle I strongly believe in is that learning without engagement is a liability, not an asset—so we must design growth journeys that people genuinely use, not just access.
4. Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?
I would recommend the conference to women in tech and engineering at any stage, and also to allies—leaders, HR/People professionals, and hiring teams—who want to turn inclusion into real career outcomes.
It’s especially valuable for those looking for mentorship, new perspectives, and global networking, because the community is built around leadership development, professional growth, and meaningful connections across countries and roles.
If you’re exploring your next move, hiring technical talent, or designing development programs, this is a space where inspiration meets concrete practices—and where you can learn what “growth with purpose” looks like in real organizations.
