    1. Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference and what motivated you to join our community of 200 000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?

I’m incredibly excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference, especially at this moment in my career. I’ve recently rejoined Microsoft as a senior leader in AI Business Solutions, and it’s given me a front-row seat to how quickly technology, expectations, and opportunity are shifting.

What drew me to WomenTech is the community’s focus on forward motion. This is a space for women, minorities, and allies who aren’t just participating in change, but shaping it. I value being part of a global community that is honest about the challenges ahead and committed to helping people navigate them with clarity and confidence.

    2. Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction?

I’ve spent over two decades building and leading teams in large technology organizations, including Microsoft and AWS, often working at the intersection of technology, business transformation, and people leadership.

Over time, I noticed a consistent pattern. Many highly capable women are doing everything right on paper. They delivered results, took on increasing responsibility, and became indispensable. Yet their careers often stalled in ways that were difficult to explain.

These observations, combined with my own experiences, really shifted my focus. I'm less interested in effort and more interested in understanding how careers actually move forward inside today's organizations.

    3. Why is the topic "Rewriting the Promotion Playbook: AI, Ambition, and the Future of Growth in Tech" important to you?

This topic is personal because I see the shift happening in real time. AI is accelerating work faster than recognition and promotion systems can keep up. Women are adopting AI quickly, becoming more productive, and often taking on even more work, yet still struggling to gain visibility and influence.

The challenge isn’t capability or ambition. It’s that AI is changing how decisions are made. As speed increases and context decreases, leaders rely more heavily on trust, judgment, and influence. When impact isn’t visible in those moments, it can be overlooked.

I want women to understand that this is not a failure on their part. It’s a system change, and once you recognize it, you can respond strategically.

    4. Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

I would encourage any woman in tech who feels stuck, overextended, or unsure how to position herself for what’s next to attend. This conference is especially valuable for mid to senior-level professionals who are excellent at execution but want to move into greater influence and leadership.

WomenTech creates space not just for learning, but for connection and perspective. It helps people step out of the day-to-day and think more strategically about their careers, their impact, and the future they want to build.
