    1. Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference and what motivated you to join our community of 150 000 women in tech and allies?

I’m excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference. Being part of a community that celebrates inclusivity and innovation in technology is incredibly important. What drew me in was the opportunity to connect with, learn from, and support other women, minorities, and allies who are all shaping the future of our industry. There’s something powerful about coming together as a network to share our stories, tackle challenges side-by-side and inspire each other to break barriers and make an even bigger impact.

    2. Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction?

My journey into tech and design has been non-linear. I started with a marketing degree at Ohio State University, then earned my MBA at the University of Texas at San Antonio, fully expecting to build a career in marketing or product. Early in my career, I supported a field sales team made up entirely of engineers, which showed me firsthand how technology and digital experiences were about to transform business.

Over the years, had the chance to work across strategy, innovation, product, and design, learning that the best teams break down silos, focus on real human problems, and work together to create meaningful impact. As Chief Design Officer at JPMorgan Chase, I lead efforts to deliver inclusive, accessible, and scalable experiences for millions of customers, while championing the talented people who bring those experiences to life. What inspires me most is seeing design improve lives and deepen trust between customers and the organizations that serve them.

    3. Why is the topic “Designing for Everyone: How to Scale Inclusive, Accessible, and Human-Centered Design in an AI World” important to you?

Inclusive design isn’t just a checkbox; it’s about ensuring everyone can interact with technology in meaningful, empowering ways. In today’s world, where AI is accelerating digital experiences, it’s more critical than ever to build systems that work for everyone, whether that’s blind and low-vision users, keyboard-only users, and others with diverse needs.

Designing for inclusivity drives better experiences for all users, deepens trust, and fuels innovation across teams. It’s about scaling impact while keeping people at the center, and creating experiences that are usable, accessible, and thoughtful, while ensuring design is embedded as a core part of how organizations deliver value at scale.

    4. Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

I encourage anyone curious about the intersection of technology, design and leadership to attend. Whether you’re looking to advance your career in tech, want to champion inclusion as an ally, or are a leader focused on building more human-centered, accessible products, this conference is for you. It’s a unique opportunity to learn, share experiences, and gain insights from experts who are driving change across industries; whether it’s through innovation, accessibility, or human-centered design practices.
