    1. Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference, and what motivated you to join our community of 150,000 women in tech and allies?

Yes, I am excited to speak for the third year in a row at The Women in Tech Global Conference. When I first applied in 2024, the motivation to join your community was multi-fold. Diversity of the community members- both in geography and skills attracted me to this network. Also, the professional way the pre- talk prep was done was great. Thirdly, the speaker line-up was phenomenal throughout these 3 years of engagement with Women in Tech. Super excited to see that in 2025, you had a live in-person meet-up in India too. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it.

    2. Share with us your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction.

After completing my Master's in Microbiology, I joined a Pharma company in sales and business development. I was the first female salesperson among 15 male sales colleagues. With more than 30 years of experience in Organizational development, Program Management and IT Operations, I believe in taking the ‘servant leadership’ approach with my teams. I have successfully handled key roles across diverse capacities in the Pharmaceutical, EdTech, Skincare and IT services space. A ‘Learner mindset’ enables me to take up new challenges and roles within a company.

    3. Why is the topic “How can women stay relevant during these AI times” important to you?

This fear that we would lose our jobs to AI is omnipresent and could destabilize a lot many of us women in our careers. There are certain inherent strengths that women have that would assist us in winning with AI, and there are also certain areas we need to learn, strengthen and pivot to better work with AI.

    4. Who would you recommend attend the Women in Tech Global Conference, and why?

Technology is all-pervasive. I would recommend women and male allies – all must attend The Women In Tech Global Conference. There is something to learn for everyone here- career advice, tech tracks, leadership discussions, soft skill development and more. So, enthusiasts to experts- all could attend this conference.
