As a Women in Tech Global Awards 2025 winner, what does this recognition mean to you, and how does it reflect your journey and impact in tech?
This recognition is a deeply meaningful milestone in my journey as a product and technology leader. It reflects years of building inclusive, human-centered digital products, leading cross-functional teams with purpose, and elevating other women and underrepresented voices in tech. Being honored by Women in Tech reinforces my commitment to creating pathways, mentorship, and opportunity for the next generation of female leaders—so that our collective impact continues to grow far beyond any single achievement.
Tech Industry's Most Rewarding Aspects
In your experience, what is the most rewarding aspect of working in the tech industry, and how has it influenced your career path?
The most rewarding part of working in tech is the ability to solve real human problems at scale. Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by the intersection of innovation, responsible AI, and meaningful customer impact. Building products that simplify decisions, empower people, and elevate underserved voices has shaped every step of my path. Seeing technology—used responsibly—unlock opportunity for individuals and communities is what keeps me inspired and committed to this field.
My Tech Career Milestone
Could you share a defining moment or a key achievement in your tech career that has been particularly impactful or meaningful to you?
A defining moment came during my time at MoneyGram, where working with both digital teams and field agents revealed how critical a seamless digital experience is for migrants sending money home. Seeing that gap—and leading efforts to modernize the remittance journey—showed me how tech can meaningfully support underserved communities. It cemented my commitment to building human-centered products that create real impact.
Empowering Women in Tech: Real Stories, Career Advice, and Tips
From your experience, what essential advice and practical tips would you offer to women aspiring to establish a successful career in tech?
Focus on solving real problems—let impact, not titles, guide your path. Build strong fundamentals in technology and product thinking, stay curious, and invest in continuous learning. Seek mentors and allies who champion your growth, and don’t hesitate to take up space in rooms where decisions are made. Most importantly, trust your voice; diverse perspectives are exactly what tech needs to create meaningful, human-centered solutions.
