Reflecting on My Journey
As a Women in Tech Global Awards 2025 winner, what does this recognition mean to you, and how does it reflect your journey and impact in tech?
This recognition is deeply personal. As a proud Latina in tech, being honored by WomenTech Global means my purpose-driven journey—creating space, visibility, and opportunity for underrepresented women—is seen and valued. I’ve poured my heart into using tech as a tool for empowerment, especially for Latinas navigating an industry where we make up less than 2%. This award reflects the ripple effect of showing up authentically, educating others, and refusing to settle for the status quo. It’s not just a win for me—it’s a win for my community.
Tech Industry's Most Rewarding Aspects
In your experience, what is the most rewarding aspect of working in the tech industry, and how has it influenced your career path?
The most rewarding part? Access. Tech opens doors—economic, creative, and cultural—and that access can completely change lives. I’ve seen what happens when women, especially women of color, gain the digital skills to launch their businesses, amplify their voices, or shift careers. It influenced my path to start my own digital marketing agency and grow with AI tools while staying true to my values. Tech gave me freedom and flexibility, and now I get to help others unlock that same freedom.
My Tech Career Milestone
Could you share a defining moment or a key achievement in your tech career that has been particularly impactful or meaningful to you?
A defining moment was leading a workshop where a first-gen Latina attendee told me, “I didn’t think I belonged in this space until today. I feel like I belong.” That hit me hard—because I’ve been her. Creating those breakthrough moments is what drives me. That one interaction represents years of community building, digital education, and showing up to make tech feel less intimidating and more inclusive. That’s the legacy we are building.
Empowering Women in Tech: Real Stories, Career Advice, and Tips
From your experience, what essential advice and practical tips would you offer to women aspiring to establish a successful career in tech?
Start messy, stay curious, and don’t wait for permission. You don’t need to have it all figured out to belong in tech. Learn publicly, ask bold questions, and use your unique perspective as an advantage—not a setback. Build a support network early and don’t underestimate the power of community. Also, embrace AI and automation—it’s not just about keeping up, it’s about leading with tools that can elevate your impact and efficiency.

I’d recommend any woman in tech—or aspiring to be—who’s looking for connection, growth, and a global sisterhood. This isn’t just a network, it’s a movement.
