As a Women in Tech Global Awards 2025 winner, what does this recognition mean to you, and how does it reflect your journey and impact in tech?
This award symbolizes the voices, stories, and dreams of women who often go unseen in the tech ecosystem. It reflects my personal mission: building safe digital spaces, uplifting local talent, and driving ethical, people-centered innovation. It shows that the work I do, from cybersecurity leadership to empowering women and young people in underserved regions truly matters.
Tech Industry's Most Rewarding Aspects
In your experience, what is the most rewarding aspect of working in the tech industry, and how has it influenced your career path?
For me, it’s the impact. Tech allows you to build solutions that touch lives, protect communities, and shift entire systems. Working in cybersecurity, AI governance, and talent empowerment has shaped my path into one rooted in purpose. The ability to continuously learn, mentor, and create opportunities for others is what keeps me inspired.
My Tech Career Milestone
Could you share a defining moment or a key achievement in your tech career that has been particularly impactful or meaningful to you?
One of the most meaningful moments was stepping into leadership roles where I could create real pathways for women and youth , especially those with limited access to opportunities. Building security teams, contributing to global AI and cybersecurity conversations, and watching people I’ve mentored grow into leaders themselves has been deeply fulfilling. It reminded me that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about impact.
Empowering Women in Tech: Real Stories, Career Advice, and Tips
From your experience, what essential advice and practical tips would you offer to women aspiring to establish a successful career in tech?
– Start where you are, with what you have.
– Seek out communities where you grow faster when you’re not walking alone.
– Stay curious; the tech world rewards those who learn relentlessly.
– Don’t wait to feel “ready.” Opportunities favor action, not perfection.
– And most importantly: your voice matters. Make space for yourself, and then create space for others.

I would recommend women at any stage of their tech journey, students, early-career professionals, leaders, and even those transitioning into tech to join this network. The community, resources, mentorship, and global visibility are unmatched. It’s a place where women grow, connect, and build a future that’s more inclusive, innovative, and empowered.
