On October 15, 2025, thousands of ambitious, curious, and purpose-driven women and allies from around the globe came together for the Women in Tech Job Fair & Career Summit, an empowering day of learning, networking, and career advancement hosted by the WomenTech Network. More than just a job fair, this virtual gathering served as a launchpad for professional growth, a community space for candid conversations, and a celebration of the vibrant diversity of talent in tech.
The digital landscape came alive as the community tuned in from every time zone, exploring an event designed with care, intention, and impact. With over 20 speaker sessions, hiring companies, interactive virtual booths, meet & greet sessions, and live networking rooms, attendees found themselves immersed in a supportive ecosystem that prioritized career development and inclusion. Whether job-seeking, exploring a pivot, or looking to scale the leadership ladder, participants walked away feeling energized and equipped for the road ahead.
A Powerful Kickoff: The Welcome Address by Anna Radulovski
The summit began with a stirring and timely welcome from Anna Radulovski, Founder & CEO of WomenTech Network and author of Chief in Tech. Speaking live to a global audience, Anna addressed the shifting realities shaping today’s tech industry—from widespread layoffs and the rapid acceleration of AI to the disappointing rollback of DEI programs across many organizations. Her opening wasn’t just inspirational—it was a rallying cry.
Anna reminded attendees that this is exactly why the Women in Tech Job Fair & Career Summit exists: to restore what the industry is at risk of losing—access, connection, and opportunity. At a time when many doors feel like they’re closing, this summit stands as a symbol of resilience and collective action.
Keynote Spotlights: Courage, Clarity & Career Acceleration
The first keynote speaker, Amy Au, Executive Coach at Innovate You, brought both empathy and strategy to her session titled "From Uncertainty to Opportunity: Leading with Flow in a Changing Tech World." Drawing from her experience guiding professionals through career transitions, Amy encouraged attendees to shift their mindset from fear to curiosity:
“The technology is changing how we do our work and how we live. As leaders, we need to focus on the people part because the impact is real on people."
Next, Charmaine Hammond, Founder and CEO of Hammond International Inc., brought candor and compassion to her talk, "Navigating Challenging Conversations with Confidence." Charmaine guided participants through the process of addressing tension and miscommunication at work, offering tools to remain grounded and solution-oriented:
“Mindset shapes everything, pay attention to everything happening around."

Later, Michelle Frechette, Executive Director of Post Status, delivered a dynamic and energizing session titled "All About You: Unleashing the Power of Personal Branding." Michelle underscored the value of showing up authentically—both online and in the workplace—and how owning your story can transform your visibility:
“In your life, nobody is as invested in your future as you are."
Following Michelle, Dr. Diana Allen, a Director-level Program Manager at Cribl, delved into "How to Find and Build Relationships with a Sponsor." Her session demystified the differences between mentors and sponsors and showed attendees how to proactively identify and cultivate relationships that open doors. With a mix of humor, honesty, and tactical advice, Diana emphasized that sponsorship isn’t accidental—it’s intentional:
“Sponsors can't advocate for you if they can't see."
In the late afternoon, Jenny Cones, Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Vitech, delivered one of the most anticipated sessions: "You Have Not Because You Ask Not: A Recruiter's Guide to Salary Negotiations." Her message was clear and unapologetic—women must ask for what they deserve:
“Strong women are not all appreciated by building this likability."
Meet & Greet Sessions With Top Recruiters
In between mainstage inspiration, attendees had the chance to meet face-to-face with recruiters and leaders from top companies like EY, GE HealthCare, N-able, New Relic, Kyndryl, Sage, Identity Digital, and Headspace during 20-minute “Meet & Greet” breakout sessions. These intimate gatherings gave attendees a unique opportunity to ask questions, get personal advice, and hear directly about company culture, current roles, and diversity initiatives.
Powerful Perspectives: Lessons from the Main Stage
Following Jenny, Nitya Shekar, Executive Coach at Second Wind Group, shared her session “The Leader Identity: A Playbook for Mastering Your First Leadership Role.” Speaking to those on the cusp of stepping into management—and those already there—Nitya addressed the internal shift required when moving from individual contributor to leader:
“Once you become the leader, that’s the work, to show others how to be a better leader."
Next up, Maura Charles, CEO of Keep it Human, Inc., brought both wisdom and humor in her deeply relatable talk “Make Your Mark Without Losing Your Mind.” Addressing the high-performance culture that often leads to burnout, Maura explored how women can build fulfilling careers while honoring their mental health:
“Visibility starts with self-awareness."

Then came Julia Kraft, Founder at Speak to Inspire, with her confidence-boosting session “How to Get Rid of Speaking Nerves and Get Better at High-Stakes Communications.” Julia tackled the all-too-common fear of public speaking and provided neuroscience-backed techniques for reducing anxiety and increasing presence:
“If the anxiety is flooding your brain you won't be able to apply any techniques that you learn."
After that, the session continued with Tara Rezvani Flowers, Head of Software Engineering at Wing (Alphabet), who presented “Engineer Your Success: Build Your Plan for Sustainable Career Growth.” Blending her technical leadership background with personal insights, Tara offered a structured approach to building a long-term career vision:
“A cluttered space often can lead to a cluttered mind."
Finally, Bo English-Wiczling, Senior Director of Database Product Management at Oracle, closed out the speaker series with her powerful talk “Personal Experiences That Shape Imposter Syndrome.” Bo shared moments from her own journey in tech leadership—moments of self-doubt, quiet triumphs, and the inner critic many women know all too well:
“Imposter syndrome is the fear of being found out that other people will judge you the way you judge yourself."
The Human Connection: Networking that Matters
Throughout the day, structured 1:1 networking sessions connected attendees based on shared interests, goals, and experience levels. These virtual rooms offered space to swap stories, celebrate wins, share advice, and even explore collaboration. In the buzzing chat rooms and lounges, the message was clear: while the tech industry may be vast, no one has to navigate it alone.
