Early customers and pilots make all the difference. Innovation truly succeeds when women founders can secure paid pilots, reference customers, and partnerships with enterprises or the public sector. In my experience, a strong first customer is often more valuable than first press—because traction builds credibility, funding confidence, and momentum.
