Our Enterprise Division team develops world-class Enterprise Security, Identity, and Application Access products for our customers. Our solutions provide fast, reliable enterprise application access. This helps to mitigate endpoint malware and phishing threats to provide a secure and efficient experience

Partner with the best

You will ensure optimal performance and up-time of Akamai's ETP (SIA) critical security products. Analyze system performance end-to-end. Working towards monitoring, alerting, log aggregations process and developing tools for it. You will work with the latest technologies such as Azure, K8S, Databricks & more

As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Deploying and maintaining the platform and tools used internally
• Developing automation pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment workflows
• Collaborating with our support, operations and engineering teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex problems
• Improving our system monitoring and analysis platform to speed error detection and remediation, enhancing performance and reliability
• Working closely with DevOps, R&D, product, and support to define cross-organizational processes on robust solutions and stability
• Participating in on-call rotations, guiding restoration and repair of service-impacting issues

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• Experience in modern container orchestration and least one of the cloud Practicing infrastructure as a code (IaC)
• Have experience with building monitoring tools
• Have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting-network, system, application, and database level (Network protocols, Linux OS, spark apps, SQL/KQL)
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability (MUST)
