Job summary:

The front-end engineer is part of the team that builds the product according to specifications. As part of the Research & Development department, you will work in one of the teams focused on the innovation of the core functionalities of our platform.

The ideal candidate will be very eager to learn and further develop their knowledge of programming, using tools like JavaScript and React, by putting it into practice



Responsibilities: 

  • Develop new features for the web application and related services, maintain and adapt existing ones to modern standards.
  • Being involved with the entire development life cycle: from concept to release.
  • Support other teams with other teammates such as backend developers and web designers.

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of software development experience with JavaScript-based technologies.
  • Confidence to work with a large codebase, along with other teams.
  • Be ready to learn new things, or share expertise.
  • Basic experience working on Unix/Linux environments.
  • Git
  • Proficient English, written and spoken


Desired: 

  • ES6.
  • TDD (test-driven development), tools for visual testing of web applications.
  • Experience within agile teams (scrum, kanban, pair programming, etc).
  • Experience with React.
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Jest or Webpack.
  • Experience with Java, and its frameworks Spring and Hibernate.
  • Basic MySQL usage and relational database concepts.
  • Experience working with APIs (REST, Microservices, etc).
  • Proficient Spanish, written and spoken.
