As a member of the GE Healthcare Imaging Platform Software team at Bangalore, You are expected to develop, test, maintain and deliver quality software for new/existing Imaging products, thus delivering next generation capabilities in the product lines.
- You will have 6+ years of software design & development experience.
- Strong expertise in C++, C programming (in a Linux environment will be a plus)
- Practical experience in usage of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) concepts and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- Experience in development of application/platform components using various design patterns, design principles in Linux platform
- Familiarity with industry software development practices, tools and environments including practical usage of
- Configuration Management systems: Git or equivalent
- Defect Tracking tools and processes: ClearQuest or equivalent
- Debuggers – GDB, Valgrind or equivalent
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
- Experience working in a cross-functional product development or global team environment.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary
