Our Digital Direct organization is helping revolutionize our customers’ experiences and the way HP is doing business. We are seeking an experienced manager to lead the development of our e-commerce customer data management (consumer & SMB) and machine learning platform using Cloud Software development techniques.


In this role as Customer Data & ML Platform Manager, you will lead the team designing, building, and managing our Cloud & ML Infrastructure that improves customer engagement, enables personalization, business Intelligence, augmented analytics, and future business user stories in an efficient, automated, repeatable and secure way.


  • Plays a critical role in building and maintaining the AWS cloud environment and platform while aligning them with business and security strategies and requirements.
  • Leads the implement DevOps infrastructure projects and manages the continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency.
  • Architects, develops and programs integrated software solutions, especially in support of the development, deployment, and life cycle of machine learning models.
  • Architects new solutions that combine services, data preparation and preprocessing, machine learning models and data presentation
  • Leads the building of standards, designs, and automates the deployment of software in cloud environments.
  • Strategically partners with stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
  • Works with software & machine learning engineers to understand systems and craft interfaces to model for deployment.
  • Prioritize DevOps tasks and uses industry standards and continuous improvements in release processes to ensure scalability and consistency.
  • Translates functional plans into operational processes and guides execution.
  • Leads portions of the planning and execution of multiple complex projects or programs in support of the continuing evolution of the organization's data and ML products.
  • Partners with cross-functional analytics teams to help them prioritize, plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs.
  • Assists in the creation of technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around cloud platforms.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrated mastery with respect to distributed/cloud computing and knowledge in virtualization technologies, cloud solutions, systems architecture and design
  • Full understanding of system of administration in virtual environments.
  • Proficiency with continuous integration tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python and JavaScript.
  • Comprehensive experience maintaining and developing highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
  • Expert skills in people and team management, ability to devise operational processes and guide execution while properly allocating the team's resources.
  • Expert team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects, strong leadership and innovation skills.
  • Industry leading expertise and insights on cloud technologies including but not limited to design, programming, ML, and data structures.
  • Knowledge of modern computer science including algorithms, data structures, software architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud and hybrid cloud service architectures and their impacts on development and deployment.
  • Conversant with all the technical as well as Cloud operations and infrastructure aspects for integrated operations and capable in the utilization of various automation tools which may be required for process automation and testing.

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience, journal and/or conference publications or open-source projects,
