We are looking for a talented individual to lead and develop a team of consultants focused on growing the Managed Services business in the Public Sector segment. This position supports the HP Federal and Public Sector Sales teams and is responsible for leading a team of business and technology consultants engaged in sales development activities, deal qualification, deal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and signature of Managed Services contracts. This leader will also be responsible for shaping our Public Sector Managed Services offerings.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in leading and developing a team of experienced individual contributors
  • Solid understanding of a Managed Services business and its end-to-end processes
  • Ability to apply sound commercial judgement to build solutions that maximize value to customers
  • Track record of managing large Solution/Services led deals, including combination of multi -business unit/product line engagements
  • Proven ability in working across organizations to drive the desired results
  • Experience in developing executive level customer relationships, including effective negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or master’s degree in Business Administration
  • 5+ years’ experience in consultative selling in the technology industry
  • 3+ years’ experience in people management
