Responsibilities:

As an UX/UI Designer at iExec, you will contribute to the creation and optimization of Web3 products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Growth Hackers to build the best possible experience for the various products.

This position is suitable for you if you are looking for an important contributor role and are ready to take the leap into Web3. Previous experience in the field of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, or Web3 is a plus.

This position requires a strong understanding of visual design and a particular attention to detail.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:

UX Designer

  • Conduct a complete user analysis phase (interviews, personas, card sorting, testing) as well as secondary analysis (resource and network analysis);
  • Translate complex technical needs into an elegant and user-friendly product;
  • Work collaboratively by integrating physical production methods (sketching, paper prototyping) and digital methods (Figma), as well as Lean UX & Design Thinking methods;
  • Support and assist developers in the design and development of the user experience;
  • Facilitate teamwork by proposing tools or new methodologies;
  • Iterate from ideas and wireframes;
  • Organize user tests in person or online to build a product that meets its target audience's needs.

UI Designer

  • Collaborate closely with product managers to establish project priorities and scope for design projects;
  • Provide high-fidelity mockups with optimal visual quality and consistency;
  • Work with the design lead to identify and introduce new components into our design system;
  • Work directly with engineers to convey detailed specifications and review implementation;
  • Understand system capabilities to anticipate error states, loading states, and overall implementation effort;
  • Collaborate with the UX designer to improve communication and usability;
  • Have an eye for detail and design each pixel with the big picture in mind;
  • Be proactive and flexible.

What makes you an asset to the team?

  • 3+ years of experience in user interface design;
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent product design skills;
  • A strong UX mindset to fully understand the user and the product, and a proven knowledge of user research tools and processes;
  • An eye for pixel-perfect designs by following basic UI rules and maintaining brand consistency at the same time;
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers;
  • A keen interest in Web3/Blockchain/Crypto;
  • Proficiency in French and English;
  • Proficiency in Figma;
  • Experience working with design systems;
  • Bonus points if you have knowledge of Jira, SCRUM methodology, HTML, CSS, and JS;
