What You'll Do

  • Author, repair and extend the reports N-central customers rely on, built in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Build and maintain extract, transform and load (ETL) pipelines that move data from operational databases into the reporting warehouse
  • Model and maintain warehouse fact and dimension tables, including patch status and device availability
  • Diagnose report failures and performance problems — long-running queries, lock contention, reports that break at scale
  • Work with the analytics and eventing teams on the data feeding your warehouse
  • Own this surface end to end; you will be the specialist for it


What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years in reporting and data warehouse engineering
  • Strong SSRS report authoring, including expressions and built-in functions
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or comparable ETL experience
  • Advanced T-SQL, including query tuning and diagnosing lock contention
  • Dimensional modelling — fact and dimension design for query performance
  • C# for the reporting service layer
  • Demonstrated use of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-assisted development lifecycle (AI-DLC) practices, or a directly equivalent methodology
  • Java experience is beneficial
  • Experience with reporting at multi-tenant scale is beneficial
