The Marketing Manager for the DACH region will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing marketing campaigns to promote N-able’s solutions through both direct and indirect (channel) marketing activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the DACH market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, distribution partners, and resellers. The Marketing Manager will also be tasked with organizing and managing events, leveraging media and public relations, and driving comprehensive marketing initiatives across various platforms.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals for the DACH region.
- Align marketing efforts with sales objectives to drive growth in both direct and indirect channels.
- Collaborate with distribution partners and resellers to create co-branded marketing materials and campaigns that support mutual business goals.
- Develop and manage marketing programs to support channel partners, including MDF (Market Development Funds) programs, incentives, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Plan and execute direct marketing activities, including email campaigns, social media, content marketing, and digital advertising, to generate leads and nurture prospects in the DACH region.
- Develop localized content, including whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blog posts, and social media updates, to support marketing initiatives and engage target audiences.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, agenda planning, speaker coordination, and on-site execution
- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and industry influencers in the DACH region.
- Conduct market research to understand regional trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, using this information to inform marketing strategies.
- Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio of successful marketing campaigns, preferably within the IT, technology, or B2B sector.
- Proven success in executing marketing campaigns for both direct and indirect channels in the DACH region.
- Experience in both direct and indirect (distribution partners and resellers) marketing, ideally within the MSP (Managed Service Provider) space (good to have).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in German and English.
- Creative thinking with a passion for staying updated on the latest marketing trends and technologies.
