Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Spots Core Platform applications using Java and related technologies, you will work closely with Spot’s Technological leaders and a team of experienced developers and contribute to the overall development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in cloud-based development and be part of a talented team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior developers and project stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain Spots Core Platform applications using Java and related technologies, following best practices and coding standards.
Perform unit testing and debugging of software applications to identify and resolve issues.
Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support

Job Requirements

Qualifications

4-6 years of software development experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and concepts.
Proficiency in Java or C# programming languages and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. , with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services.
Basic knowledge of cloud-based development, including microservices architecture.
Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
