The Account Manager – Sage Accountants Network (SAN) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with accountant partners within the SAN ecosystem. This role focuses on retention, renewals, and revenue expansion by delivering consistent value, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring a high-quality partner experience. The Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor to SAN members, helping them maximize the value of Sage solutions while driving long-term engagement and revenue growth.



This role is hybrid, three days per week onsite in the Lawrenceville office.

Renewal & Retention Management:

• Own and manage the end-to-end renewal process for SAN members

• Ensure timely renewal completion and high retention rates

• Proactively identify and mitigate retention risks



Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with SAN members

• Serve as primary point of contact

• Understand partner workflows, client base, and business goals



Revenue Growth (Upsell & Cross-Sell):

• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities

• Promote additional Sage products and services



Customer Enablement & Engagement:

• Educate members on products, features, and updates

• Support enablement via webinars and training sessions



CRM & Account Management Discipline:

• Maintain accurate CRM records

• Track renewal, pipeline, and engagement activity



Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with Account Executives, Marketing, and Customer Success



Performance & Reporting:

• Achieve renewal and revenue targets

• Provide insights on member needs and program improvements



Skills & Experience

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales

• Strong relationship-building skills

• CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)



Preferred:

• Experience with accountants or financial services

• Knowledge of SaaS or Sage solutions
