Stellantis’s Software Organization (SWx) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. As part of that foundation, we are seeking a Test Automation Framework Engineer. He/ she should interface to the global team that will support all Stellantis applications utilizing the Agile methodology. The scope of this position will cover strategy, roadmap and methodology determination, toolchain development and maintenance, troubleshooting/ root causing, benchmarking, training and technical documentation, driving deployment, adoption and continuous improvement of the xIL Test Automation framework. One of the key responsibilities is the test library development and maintenance. Working closely with plant modeling, soft and virtual ECU team, functional design, architecture, integration and testing teams is a part of the daily work.
 
The primary focus of this individual will be to work on test automation framework development and maintenance for xIL platform, test scripts and libraries development and maintenance, development of tools for CI/ CD workflow management, database management for test automation artifacts, the candidate must be familiar with continuous integration and delivery methods, test automation & rollout. Furthermore, an agile testing mindset and good knowledge of agile test paradigms (TDD, BDD, ATDT, etc.) shall be part of this person’s repertoire.

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Good Knowledge of virtual testing methods (model based, xIL, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of agile test methods and test automation
  • Experience with Automation Toolchain such as AutomationDesk, ECU Test, Teststand etc.
  • Knowledge of CAN and analysis tools
  • Familiarity with SW version control
  • Good understanding of testing standards
  • Experience with complex test environments
  • Experience working with and/or managing global teams
  • Experience with planning, status & risk reporting and escalation, prioritization, and global governance
  • Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum and DFSS Methodologies
  • Outstanding interpersonal and project planning skills

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Knowledge and understanding of an Automotive OEM
  • Good knowledge of state of the art SW construction and integration methods and tool chains.
  • Good Knowledge of OS (Operation Systems), Autosar (Classic and Adaptive), Linux etc.
  • Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK
  • Good understanding of automotive testing standards.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum.
  • Experience in one of the following domains (Propulsion Systems, ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis)
  • Experience with branch strategies & variant management
