Session: How to Engineer and Lead High-Performing Teams In Tech

People makes companies and it's the most important asset of all. High performing teams can be engineered with high success’ probability. Diversity is actually one of the important drivers of high performance and superior decision making. However, diversity has been lagging behind in Medtech as historically most of the initial positions were filled by a quite uniform layer of engineers, most often mainly males. Over the years top and new Medtech companies have been putting a big effort on increasing diversity and is paying off. Diversity is a broad term but just taking gender In Medtech only 18% of executive roles are taken by women, however as proven by research. companies with at least 30% of women executives bring as much as 6% more in profits according to PIIE. The time has come to elevate female leadership and general diversity to the board level to keep demonstrating it truly raises Medtech value
