Session: Introduction to Coaching for Leaders
Companies that succeed in building a coaching culture create leaders who are authentic, brave and connected. They create environments that bring out the best in people, give them purpose and support their continued development. When leaders learn to coach, they not only improve themselves and those around them, they have lasting impact on the culture and ultimately the bottom line.
This workshop introduces coaching behaviors and skills that conference attendees can integrate into and enhance the leadership skills they already have. With a combination of structured presentation, demonstrations, and experiential group learning, attendees will leave this workshop with a practical approach and shared vocabulary that empowers them to begin the journey of creating sustainable cultural change in their organizations.
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Articulate what coaching is and when to use it
• Practice the core skills of coaching in a multitude of situations
