WomenTech Global Conference Voices 2021: Speaker Nazerke Seidan

Nazerke Seidan is a Software Engineer at Salesforce based in France. Prior to Salesforce, she has worked and interned at CERN,  ETH Zürich in Switzerland, at HENNGE in Japan, and at Cloudera in Hungary.

Especially for the WomenTech Network, Nazerke agreed to give an interview and share her story.

Are you excited to be among the speakers at the WomenTech Global Conference 2021 and what motivated you to join our community of 100 000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?

Of course, I am very excited to be one of the speakers at the conference and I am looking forward to it. One of the main reasons to join the conference is to connect with like-minded people around the around. As there is a cliché - sharing is caring, so indeed sharing your knowledge with others is something that I care about.

Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction?

I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. Also I have worked and interned at CERN, ETH in Switzerland, at Cloudera in Hungary, at HENNGE in Japan. Currently I am working as a Software Engineer at Salesforce based in France. Working in tech in particular software engineering feels like you learn something new every single day. I am inspired by successful women in tech who are leading, managing and making an incredible impact on their community.

Who would you advise to attend the Global Conference and why?

I highly recommend attending this conference for anyone who is interested in tech as it is about learning, connecting, giving/receiving encouragement and supporting.

Reserve your spot at WomenTech Global Conference in June 2021 to enjoy Nazerke's talk "How To Get Started With Open Source Software Contribution (Apache Solr)", and learn from other inspiring speakers.
