Because the trend in cyber needs in companies is 50% political + 50% technical,
I think that cyber security jobs should be better segmented: CS jobs on the policy side (where female expertise predominates) and technical jobs (where male expertise predominates).
The selection criteria for jobs should mix the conditions as little as possible.

Ex. Although I have advanced certifications in Policies, I find many jobs as a Cyber ​​Policy Consultant, which require Certifications and years of advanced technical experience.
We are spinning in a circle!
So many women cannot hold active jobs because they have just started their career in Cyber.

As a female cybersecurity instructor, I see firsthand the urgent need for more women in our field. The cybersecurity landscape is rapidly evolving, and the threats we face are becoming increasingly sophisticated. To effectively combat these challenges, we need diverse perspectives and a broader range of skills.
Women bring unique perspectives and approaches to problem-solving. In cybersecurity, where creative and innovative solutions are often required to address new and emerging threats, diversity in thought and experience can lead to more effective strategies. By increasing female representation, we can foster an environment where a wider range of ideas and solutions are explored, ultimately enhancing our ability to protect against cyber threats.
Women often face unique challenges and barriers in male-dominated fields. By actively working to create a more inclusive and supportive environment, we can ensure that women not only enter the field but also thrive and advance in their careers. This, in turn, helps retain talent and reduces the turnover rate in the industry.
