Dearest Women in Tech,

I hope this message finds you well. I work for the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) Latin America Centre, as part of the Mapping Emerging Technologies to Advance Inclusive Sustainable Development (META) project — a collaborative initiative in Africa, Asia and LAC, funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).

• Map key emerging technologies and their alignment with the SDGs
• Identify regional priorities, innovation ecosystems, and technology adoption patterns
• Assess the gender-responsiveness and inclusivity dimensions of emerging technologies

Your input will directly shape a LAC-wide knowledge base — and this is just the beginning. This survey is the first step toward building a regional network of experts and leading organizations in emerging technologies for LAC that advance sustainable development. Next steps include interviews and workshops with members of this network.
