Our team builds and executes demand marketing programs for customer acquisition, cross selling and retention within Commerce, Finance, Media, Entertainment and Public Sector. We work towards having a data-driven approach for maximum impact possible on demand, pipeline and revenue growth. We work cross-functionally and globally with the marketing organization including and Sales and Pre Sales team.

Develop Industry Marketing Plans across the EMEA region

We are looking for a data-driven and results-oriented Industry Engagement Manager.  You will have responsibility for creating, managing and executing marketing programs that are initiating revenue growth and accelerate adoption of Akamai products and solutions.

As an Industry Engagement Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Working alongside regional marketing teams to understand local business needs and devising the industry marketing strategy
• Building repeatable marketing programs to drive new customer acquisition and existing customer engagement
• Managing the end-to-end planning, execution, budget and reporting of marketing programs - including events and digital tactics
• Analyzing the marketing funnel, reviewing and tracking ROI of all activities to optimize impact and spending
• Contributing to the strategy and planning of content marketing initiatives

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven success in building effective programs (incl. industry content) across the marketing funnel
• Have hands-on Field Marketing/ Demand Generation experience within B2B high-tech. (Cloud / Security experience is advantageous)
• Enjoy being analytical
• Be a good team player, able to prioritize, and solve problems
• Have a background in Public Sector, Financial Services, Commerce or Media would be advantageous
