Job Description Summary

Working as a member of the NPI core team, the Senior Lead Program Integrator (LPI) will actively lead a cross functional global team to deliver the next generation CT System. The LPI participates in the product development process by leading the overall planning and integration process, driving day-to-day execution, control, and delivery of the program. The LPI is also responsible for driving the cost reduction plans that ensure the program will deliver a product with costs that fulfill business case cost requirements.

The position offers the opportunity for significant business visibility - e.g. Program Reviews, Milestone reviews, and Quality Presentations as well as regular business interface with leaders on key topics such as VCP, Quality, etc.

The role works closely with the Program Manager, but has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Program Manager, ensures that multi-functional projects integrate properly within the product/program.

  • Optimize team performance across the program value chain, functionally and technically.

  • Ability to proactively manage cross-functional interdependencies to maximize team efficiency and avoid gaps/delays in mid to long-term execution.

  • Anticipate integration issues and discern appropriate actions to progress the team forward.

  • Connects planning and cross-functional impacts of product NPI, Installed Base, Obsolescence and End-of Life

  • Lead cross-functional global team, including:

  • Team includes engineering, systems, service, supply chain, and marketing.

  • Establish operating and communication mechanisms

  • Lead weekly core and execution control team meetings

  • Lead daily team stand-ups

  • Active participant in Quality meetings

  • Team building

  • Manages day-to-day program activities

  • Develop, Own and drive the Integrated Program Plan, including:

  • Integration Steps identifying key phased deliverables

  • Overall program planning, manpower, and schedule commitments

  • Identifies and assesses program execution risks, develops contingency plans, and tracks mitigation

  • Drive program execution control and milestone closure, including:

  • Partner with LSD to develop/execute NPIs - meet quality, content, schedule, cost, and budget targets

  • Partner with the Program Manager to develop and execute the overall Program Budget

  • Follow all GEHC development processes

  • Meet Regulatory/Quality system requirements

  • Complete Milestone process/reviews

  • Develop model planning, scheduling, tracking, and configuration control

  • Insure test bay hardware and software process are in place and followed

  • Drive External Evaluation planning

  • Track Program budget (labor & material)

  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

  • BSEE/ME/CE or equivalent

  • 5 years product development/design/systems experience
