Private Cloud Development
Responsibilities:
This role will participate in driving quality aspects of a worldwide private cloud platform to compete with cloud offerings from VMware, Nutanix, Amazon and Microsoft. This individual is an engineer or tester with strong coding skills who is passionate about software quality. This role provides the opportunity to inject quality throughout the entire development lifecycle, through designing, creating and improving an automated test harness and test suites integrated into our CI/CD process.
This is a software development position in a highly collaborative environment working directly with Development, QA, Operations and Product Management teams across geographies.
Mandatory Skills:
Selenium, Python or Ruby, REST API,
Database Testing
Linux basic knowledge
B.S./M.S in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (with programming skills/experience) or Computer Science (with hardware skills /experience) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience testing and shipping commercial SW product or developing and supporting commercial SaaS platform
Experience with designing, building, and improving automated test harness and test suite
Experience with load and stress testing tools and methodologies Ability to design new ways to stress and prove the functionality of our integrated hardware/software solution
Excellent communication skills - able to work with teams across cultures fostering trust and collaboration.
