Role
As a Manager, Software Development Engineer, You will:

  • Lead software engineering teams in developing advanced technologies and application that bring values to our customers
  • Lead large scale projects from inception to release
  • Lead design of major, complex part of the platform with high-quality development
  • Define state of the art service-oriented software architectures
  • Lead the development team and serve as a technical resource for team members
  • Lead planning and scoping features for the team
  • Continuously innovate and determine new technologies and approaches 
  • Guide an engineer’s career including performance evaluation, coaching, and motivation
  • Work to define feature requirements and deliver the product that materially impacts the business and improves the consumer experience
  • Work closely with Product Owner and provide technical inputs to define the product roadmap

 

All About You

  • Successful track record in leading, managing, and coaching a high-performing engineering team
  • Proficiency with advanced object-oriented programming
  • Solid technical foundation in full-stack development in an agile environment
  • Experience solving and implementing scalable solutions to solve complex problems
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, server-side technologies for developing microservices
  • Prior experience contributing to the development of large scale web applications
  • Motivation, creativity, self-direction, and desire to thrive in a collaborative development environment
  • Prior experience leading a team or mentoring other engineers, both technically and professionally preferred 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
