Working at NTT

As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's networks and systems against cyber threats. You will design, implement, and manage security solutions, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security principles, a strong technical background, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Day to day key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security devices.

• Configure and maintain security appliances to ensure optimal performance and threat detection.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

• Lead the response to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Document and report security incidents, including root cause analysis and recommended remediation steps.

• Monitor network traffic for security events and anomalies.

• Analyze logs and alerts generated by security systems to identify and respond to potential security incidents.

• Collaborate with external vendors and security partners to stay current on security trends and technologies.

Key skills & required Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or a related role.

• Industry certifications such as CEH, CCIE security, NSE, PCNSE, F5-CP, etc.

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security architecture, and risk management.

• Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
