Job Description:

   

 The program Manager position is responsible for the management, co-ordination, planning and execution of the Training Partner Program, the SUSE Certified Instructor Program and the SUSE Certification Program. The Program manager function increases the understanding and use of SUSE solutions through training and enablement of our customers and partners. Reporting to the Global Director of Field Enablement and Delivery, this position will have responsibility for the programs that underpin our ability to deliver world-class technical training content. These programs include managing our on-going certification program, over-seeing the relationships with our third party fulfilment companies, managing and co-ordinating our SUSE Certified Instructor Program and improving all of our programs moving forward.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Technical Training Director to determine that the certification program fits the strategic direction of the course content and exams. The position will also work closely with teams throughout the company including Global Training Services,  Technical Training, Sales Enablement, and Partner teams as well as the entire Field Enablement and Delivery team to ensure that the technical training materials and associated exams are in a way that is easily accessible and consumable by our constituents. The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of technical training and enablement with excellent organisational, program management and cross-cultural communication skills. Position may require occasional travel.

As a key member of SUSE’s Field Enablement and Delivery team your responsibilities will include:

Develop and execute on-going certification program

Manage the Training Partner Program

Manage the SUSE Certified Instructor Program

Manage, update and maintain electronic delivery platforms, websites, portals and communication mechanisms to ensure proper accessibility of content by all of our constituents: customers, partners and employees.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales enablement, channel enablement or training services role
  • Minimum of 5 years managing similar programs or projects

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced planning, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organization skills, ability to react nimbly to new opportunities
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
