In this role, you will collaborate with architects and developers to support several development teams, providing tooling, software, and guidance as we build applications in the cloud.

In this opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Software Engineer if you have:
Basic qualifications:
4+ years experience with software development using one or more programming languages, preferably Java or Python
Experience with AWS cloud platform
Experience with infrastructure automation using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Ansible
1+ year experience with build and deploy tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, AWS CodeBuild, or AWS Code Pipelines
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Understand Agile development practices
Certified AWS Developer or Solutions architect
Experience working as a DevOps engineer in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
Experience working with database technologies, especially cloud solutions such as AWS Aurora/MySQL or AWS DynamoDB
Good understanding of DevOps practices as well as embracing a CI/CD mindset
Proficiency in system monitoring and security for cloud-based applications
Comfortable with Linux operating system and shell scripting
