About the Role:

At Wing we're building an all-in-one solution empowering drone operators to easily determine where they can and cannot fly. OpenSky, our iOS and Android app, is the simplest and easiest way to view drone rules and regulations, so you can take flight with confidence – whether that means flying a single drone or an entire fleet.

OpenSky supports flight planning for both recreational and commercial drone pilots and is an approved provider of near-real-time access to airspace controlled by the FAA in the US, and CASA in Australia. Wing’s Software Products & Services team is looking for an Android Engineer to develop the next generation of OpenSky.

Wing applications are deployed across different business verticals and geographies; in a multitude of form factors for first and third party clients. As an Android Engineer, you’ll work on a diverse team of passionate individuals aspiring to make drone delivery an accessible reality for the world. Our engineers establish best practices to enable rapid iteration of resilient software products and enable company goals of scale, efficiency, and profitability.

The team covers a wide variety of domains, so if you're excited about building apps that will be used by real-world customers, delighting users with friendly, welcoming interfaces, or enjoy working with large-scale technical infrastructure, come join our team!
