So of all, let me introduce myself. I am Zulie, the chief technology officer of the global MRI business in GE Healthcare. It's very nice to meet with all of you, in this session, and I would like to, provide a brief update, an introduction about GE Healthcare as a business, about innovations that we're working on, and about our culture. So, and then I will really look forward for a live, discussion, interactive discussion with all of you. So please feel free to, ask questions, during during the, discussion. So, GE Healthcare, we're really, working on creating a world where health care has no limit. And this is, the mission and and, the objective for everyone who works in the company. With GE Healthcare, we are a leading global health care solution providers. In 2024, we had, about 19.7, billing of, revenues with equipment and services we provided globally.

We have, about 5,000,000 install based equipment across all the, modalities and global regions and countries. We serve about 1,000,000,000 patients every year, so we're very proud of, the, the the diverse portfolios and, solutions we provided to our customers. We're very focused on bringing the latest technology and the best solutions to our customers. So we invest heavily, in r and d, and we spend about 1,300,000,000.0 of, our total, revenues and returns in r and d every year. We have, almost 20,000 customer facing colleagues across, globe, and we are the leading companies in the medical device industry that enables AI, solutions, in our product portfolio. We are trusted partners, with a very strong global presence.

We have our products, presented, in more than a 160 global countries, and we have, more than 50,000 colleagues that work in worldwide. And we have, almost 10,000 Salesforce personnels in these, global countries with, around 8,000, field service engineers that making sure, our devices and solutions across the global regions are serviced in the prompt timing. So there's, the best performance with our equipment and solutions, during the throughout the operations. In terms of GE Healthcare, we align our, products and services into four big segments. We have a imaging segment that provides diagnostic equipments across, across, multiple modalities, including, MRIs, where it's a business that I live, I work with, with, CT and with ultrasound. And we also have a advanced, visualization solutions, and then we have, a patient care solutions as well as a pharmaceutical diagnostic solutions. A little bit more details, is we have, about each of the business segment. We have, so in the imaging, we have, as I shared, we have MRI.

We have, molecular imaging, which is PETCT, PETMR. We have a CT business. We also have a woman's house in the X-ray, device, section. In the advanced visualization solutions, we provide ultrasound, women's health ultrasounds, cardiovascular ultrasounds. We provide interventional, guided therapies and and solutions. In our patient care solutions, we provide, patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology. We provide anesthesia and, and material infant care solutions. In our, pharmaceutical diagnosis, diagnostics, we primarily focus on providing contrast media and radiopharmaceutical, solutions to our, customers. We have a long history of innovation, and we do have a legacy. Our company started more than a hundred years ago, with, with the with the objective, to provide the latest technology in the in the in the industry, and, we also started to focus on medical, focus in the health care industry and focus on medical devices.

So we had introduced, the world's CT, scanners in the nineteen sixties, followed by we provided the 1.5 t, high field MRI equipment in the early nine early nineteen eighties. Then we actually introduced, various of, innovative solutions across our, across our modern, modalities, of course, MR, CT, X rays. In the, early twenty, twenty twenty, 20 centuries, we looked into high performing, CT and MRI scanners, including CTs and cardiac CTs. And in, '20, '20 late twenty twenty, nineteen, twenty twenty is when we start to look into how do we bring our, AI empowered solutions, into our modalities to make smart devices and solutions. And we are the world to apply, the the deep learning, technologies, in the CT reconstruction, and we are also the world to, to introducing the deep learning, algorithms into our MRI scanners. Looking at global health care trends, we really have significant challenges in front of our health health care providers. We have an aging populations. Our clinicians are burned out.

We have increased chronic disease privilege, prevalence, and we have a increasing demand for insights and productivity, requirements or needs from our customers. And, we are looking at, alternative, ways of providing cares. And so this presents a great opportunities for health care industries to work together, and to provide, to build trust amongst the the communities to create a seamless care experience for our patients, and we focus and for us to focus on clinical, value and, really, provide, solutions to our clinicians with value at our products.

So in GE Healthcare, we're looking forward and we're providing, we're, having a we're, creating a strategy and looking at instead of providing individual, devices and individual products, we try to provide care pass way, oriented, solutions, to enable our physicians to provide precision health to our customers.

And, what is precision here? Precision here is really care is really, aimed at leveraging a patient's unique data of your multimodal sources and for us to determine the most appropriate treatment and aim to develop, deliver the best tailored and optimized outcomes to each individual patients. So it leveraged the multimodal data is across imaging, across pathologies, across genomics, findings, and across using the vital, and and lab results collected from each of the patients and going through a diverse and productive, digital platforms. So we in we would then help our physicians to provide a a, a much precise diagnostics, much precise therapy, and treatment planning, and also to look into a much, tailored and personal monitoring post of the treatment. So so looking at Precision Hairs, health cares, we're looking at our strategies with a d three strategy, by, leveraging smart devices and therapeutic drugs that we have in our portfolio with, considering the disease state that our patients are by leveraging the other diagnostic datas and lab datas that collected from the patients and and fully utilize the digital capabilities, that we will be embedded in our solutions in the end with aim to provide the patient centric, centered position here.

And so we're at forefront of, delivering the, health cares across the patient journey start from, with a preventative and screening, solutions provided, before the patient, start to showing or exhibiting, symptoms and into diagnosis when some patients start to feel, some of the, symptoms and and have, patients, and and go to seek the, other positions, physicians to look into, potential diseases.

And then when it into go into once the disease is diagnosed, it into the treatment phase and after treatment into the monitoring phase of looking at disease progressions as well as looking to other any side effects developing with the treatment. And, here, I'm gonna give you an examples of how, we are looking at comprehensive solutions throughout the patient journey in oncology, care, care pathways. So as we know, cancer is the leading cause of, patient deaths globally, and we estimated one in five individuals will develop cancers in their lifetime. In by 02/1950, the global burden is expected to grow into thirty five million new cancer cases annually and in between thirty to fifty percent of cancer deaths, would, could be prevented in by 2025 if we continue to our precision, cares in oncology. So, how do we address oncology challenges? As we look into what are the challenges for preventable and misdiagnosed cancers, and so we, we are looking at so the manual process today and the disc disconnected IT systems, along with our caregivers burnout is one of, is one of the leading challenges together with increased patient volumes as we shared before.

We're anti anticipating a, an increase much increased percentage in occurrence of, cancer cases throughout the patient, life spent, as well as the cause and the inconsistency of monitoring, post treatment along with the risk of recurrence, in the patient, treatment journey are some of the leading challenges in terms of oncology.

And our key priority centered around these challenging areas is to integrate care, provide integrated cares with a coordination of improved workflows. And we are also aiming to provide access to data and a, AI assisted clinical decision support along with, providing equitable and remote, cancer cares, to broader customers and patients across the globe. So seronostics is a concept of combining therapy and diagnostic, solutions together. It's a branch of nuclear medicine that uses both imaging technology and targeted therapeutics to identify and treat diseases such as cancers. So, in the, in our product portfolio, we wanted to provide an open architecture that integrates the oncology care, care pathway, components along the patient journey through early detections, using some of our, patient monitoring solutions throughout our diagnosis, with our AI based and enabled equipment such as CT, MRs, going into planning, phases by looking at, treatment plannings, use ultrasounds, use, PET, use our, MR and CT devices into interventional, procedures with our, interventional solutions, into our ready therapeutic CT scans and, going to, leading to monitoring solutions by looking at, using our devices and solutions to accurately monitor the treatment outcome as well as disease progressions.

So some of the, examples of our, equipment and solutions spend through drug discoveries with a scalable target tracer department in our PDS, a business businesses, along with the disease diagnosis, with our high resolution PET CT and Panama scanners, into the treatment monitorings, when we look into our, the industry leading, CCT spec CT scanners are some of the examples of us providing the best and precise, diagnostic and treatment solutions across the patient journey that are tailored in our cancer care or oncology pathway.

So with that, I just wanted to summarize, to share with you. We're so proud. I am so proud to work in, GE Healthcare, who is a leading global health care solution providers. We, provides, diverse product solutions to all our patients across the global, and we are a link driven, companies looking at how do we be, the most, provide the most efficient operations in our factories. And we wanted to provide, the best care to our patients under the, a very experienced leadership teams within healthcare. And with that, we are looking forward to hear more from you and you can con contact with us, through our website, look into the LinkedIns, find us on the Facebooks and other social medias and in our news and updates in the, in our insights web page. And, just looking forward to have a better connection with you and look forward to either hear from you and and or, connect with you as we provide solutions to you and your families around, around the world.

With that, I would like to conclude my, introductions and, look into if there's questions, and then head into a little bit of interactive discussions. I see Megan asked the questions. I want to know about the steps our company is taking to make things affordable. It it's definitely, very on top of our mind, Megan, and cost and access, of our solutions to our patients is definitely the top priorities. So the steps we're taking in our company is really looking to providing, the best solutions with affordable cost. And we are very much looking to link operations in our factories, so that we can look into, as well as a a a supply base, pricing base that are, cost effective to really bring down, the the material cost into our products. We're also looking to a global footprint and to as as we shared earlier, we have, more than 40 manufacturing sites across globe with the intention of, we're providing our, solutions in the regions that are closest to our customers.

So we are, actually with a a a reduced, logistic cost, and make our products as as closer by to our patients as possible. We also are looking into AI, enabled product and solutions to provide, better care, better results with reduced, material cost in our systems. We also are very, focused on providing not only cost effective products, but also, more, energy effective cost, products, to protect the environment and also aiming at bringing the, operating cost down for our customers. So these are a few steps and things, as an examples as we're looking to really bring more access and affordable products to our patients.
