Job Description

Provides analytical and project management support for Mergers, Acquistions, Divestiture, and Outsourcing (MADO) projects for the Total Rewards organization. As TR MADO analyst you will work closely with MADO project teams on detailed analysis, solution proposals, coordination and delivery of activities from due diligence to integration phase for all MADO deals. You’ll be reporting to MADO Compensation Director and your primary stakeholders will be TR, HR, and business teams with whom you will work on understanding unique compensation needs of each deal and providing solutions which address those needs. This role will also support compensation and benefits special projects as needed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide TR analytical support to MADO transactions including job architecture, base pay, variable pay, and equity analysis and solutions
  • Depending on the deal, either project manage or provide support to project management on acquisitions, divestitures, and other transactions.
  • Partner with the HR MADO team, TR team and Business during due diligence phase, including assessing gathered data, making recommendations on go forward TR solutions, purchase agreement terms and operational TR risks.
  • Serve as the liaison to various functions and workstreams (Compensation, Benefits, Equity, Executive compensation, TR systems, HRGS, LR, Regional and Country teams) with respect to all TR MADO activities.
  • Research, recommend and implement solutions to help us overcome challenges associated with TR integration (balancing feasibility of implementation and lasting commitments).
  • Provides insight to project plans and milestone planning from a TR standpoint
  • Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders during due diligence and implementation phases to assure alignment between key stakeholders
  • As required, partner with external vendors/parties on required analysis and solutions
  • Proactively identify solutions to meet business objectives, taking into account the implications of change on the organization and employees
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with HR workstream leads including HRBPs, MADO Benefits, Business HR, Country TR
  • Participates in project update meetings with key stakeholders providing updates on progress and completing required templates
  • Work with team to identify lessons learned and process improvements to support continuous improvement of TR MADO infrastructure.
  • May be responsible for ad hoc compensation/business compensation projects and support depending on the current priorities of the HR and TR organization

Knowledge and Skills

  • Solid knowledge of compensation programs including job architecture, base pay and variable pay with deep expertise in at least one of those programs
  • Knowledge of equity programs will be a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
    • Strong experience in excel
    • VBA and PowerBI will be a plus
  • Solid understanding of external market practices/policies/trends in compensation area
  • Ability to think strategically, looking at the bigger picture to build solutions and TR integration strategies unique to each country and TR program
  • Strong team player and collaborator who is also able to work independently on assigned tasks and projects
  • Ability to work and successfully collaborate as part of complex, global and matrix teams
  • Project management and work prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills – written, oral and presentation
  • Strong experience in excel
  • VBA and PowerBI will be a plus

Education and Experience Required

  • First-level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred.
  • Typically 5+ of Total Rewards experience
