Simulation models of chips, SoCs and electronic platforms play an essential role to our worldwide customers in Automotive, Mobile, Cloud and AI for shifting-left the overall system design process. The Virtual Prototyping team is on a constant journey to scale the creation, run and analytics services for such simulation models, all driven by a rapid growth in design complexity, distributed simulation environments and cloud-native integration into large digital twins.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop high quality software modules in front and back-end scope.  
  • Continuously enhance test automation as part of industry proven CI/CD flows. 
  • Effectively collaborate with peers being experts in both classical and web-native stacks.  
  • Contribute to requirements analysis by close collaboration with R&D teams and field experts.   

Key Qualification & Experience 

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar 
  • A passionate, “SOLID” background in object-oriented software design 
  • Very good programming skills in at least one backend language (e.g. Java, C++)  
  • General knowledge of data structures and algorithms 
  • Good programming skills in Python 

Good-to-have Experience 

  • Knowledge in distributed systems, web-API frameworks, client-server (e.g. REST, gRPC) 
  • Knowledge in microservice architectures 
  • Ready-to-apply understanding of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript 
  • Applied experience in JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React  
  • Experience in open source or commercial (no)SQL databases for structured data sets
