Synopsys is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented junior Engineering
Documentation Manager with strong project management and communication skills to be part of our growing DDR Documentation Team.

You will be part of a team that directly interfaces with several Engineering and Technical Publication teams to deliver customer-focused documentation, requirements, and specifications critical to sales, marketing, and internal development of our DDR PHY IP. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring our DDR Documentation is accurate, consistent, and concise by maintaining alignment across our cross-functional teams with respect to documentation issues and methodologies. This involves actively participating and collaborating in documentation creation, reviews, and validation of all aspects of DDR Documentation while also driving and furthering documentation processes and flows that will enable design teams to effectively create standardized documentation for their designs and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation creation, management, validation, and review across all DDR PHY IP
• Development of documentation processes and flows for both internal and external teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across different DDR PHY platforms and corresponding documentation
• Effective project management of various documentation tasks, bugs, and enhancements using established bug tracking tools and flows
• Mentorship of a young and vibrant team of Engineering Documentation Interns who will benefit from your leadership and guidance

Key Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written required
• Possess excellent presentation skills
• Possess advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Possess advanced experience with Microsoft Visio
• Able to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Demonstrate strong ability for project management
• Demonstrate strong ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize work, and multi-task
• Able to collaborate with teams across various time zones
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
• Knowledge of computer architecture, circuit theory, and integrated circuit design a plus
• Knowledge of EDA tools and analog design a plus
• Programming skills in Python, Tcl, bash scripting a plus

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Electrical/Computer/Computer Science required
• 2 years of Documentation experience
