In addition to EDA tools and IP, we provide different types of design services. Our System Solutions team enables our customers with end-to-end SOC designs in advanced technologies. Deliver tool flows. Provide expertise in design methodology creation and implementation. Create design flows and methodologies. Provide customer specific design assistance. Help RTL-to-GDSII implementation for blocks, sub-systems, and full SOCs. Execute full turnkey SOC designs from specification-to-parts. Our customers range from start-ups to industry top people, commercial and government agencies. We have an immediate opening for an SOC Design Professional to join our team. Does this sound like a good role for you?

In this role you will drive development of SOCs including hands-on work and providing technical leadership and guidance to internal or third-party SOC development.

Key Qualifications:

• BSEE/MSEE/PHD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience in SOC-level Architecture and RTL development
• Excellent in SOC system architecture knowledge with experience in High Level or Micro-architecture level development, RTL development, Design Verification, DFT, Physical Design and Tapeout management
• Knowledge of High Performance Computing Architectures in Mobile, Data Center, Client/Server, Automotive and Edge computing SOCs
• Exceptional in Various Interconnect options like Arteris NOC, AMBA AXI, CXL and other similar technologies
• Working and implementation knowledge of SOC level features like AVFS, Low Power Management Features and other power architecture related features
• Solid knowledge around HW/FW/SW interdependencies
• Knowledge of SOC standard interfaces including (but not limited to) PCIe, DDR, HBM, MIPI CSI/DSI, SPI, I2C etc.
• Working and Implementation knowledge of CPU architectures such as RISCV, ARC, X86 or ARM cores
• Will be able to travel on occasion for short periods of time, and occasionally work on-site at customer premises as required

Preferred Experience:

• Has done multiple tapeouts in advanced nodes such as 16-/14-/10-/7-nm
• Managed a global team
• Has had direct customer interactions
• Experience in designing SOC from Architecture to post-silicon
• Experience working in a customer centric environment with great communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to small teams of Micro-architects/RTL developers working on an SOC
• Ability to cross-functionally manage full SOC development from micro-architecture through GDS and work with partners on SW/FW and packaged parts full solution
• Experience using workflow tools like git/gitlab/github is preferred
• This position may include assignment to government contracts. Consequently, the ability to obtain government security clearances and/or other work clearances is preferred and will be required in the event of assignment to government contract work.
